PEPs & Sanctions Default Settings

This article describes the default settings that are applied to new portal set-ups (effective from 19/11/2024). Default settings will apply to any journeys issued that include PEPs & Sanctions. These default settings are customisable, and where you wish to alter these customisable settings, please review the full options available to you and fill in the form requesting your changes using the below button.

• PEPs
• Former PEPs
• Associated PEPs
• Sanctions*
• Former Sanctions
• Adverse Media**
• Law Enforcement**
• Disqualified Directors**
• Profiles of Interest **

*Where you have a lettings portal, only sanctions will be applied as a default.

**These datasets are not included in Credas+ remediation and not applied as a default if you have Credas+. If you choose to enable these datasets, with Credas+, a possible matches for these datasets will need manual remediation from yourselves.

Default PEP Tiers

• Tier 1
• Tier 2 

Default Countries

• All

Default Date of Birth

• Year of Birth
• Includes matches without a date of birth

Default Name Match

• Exact match
