Address & Mortality Profiles

This article will explore the different Address & Mortality profiles we have available, and the criteria that is needed to be met for an Address & Mortality check to pass.

What is a profile?

The Address & Mortality profile is essentially a set of parameters that will pass or refer an Address & Mortality check depending on if the required criteria has been met. The profile, and therefore the pass parameters, will apply to any Address & Mortality checks run as part of a journey such as our AML Check.

What is the criteria for a pass?

We offer the below profile options:

Standard Checks (1+1 inc. DOB) - To pass, the individual (name & date of birth) has to pass at the residential address on at least one source of data from either the Electoral Roll or Credit Database, cannot be flagged as deceased or someone who has moved out (change of the address).

Standard Checks To pass, the individual (name) has to pass at the residential address on at least one source of data from either the Electoral Roll or Credit Database, cannot be flagged as deceased or someone who has moved out (change of the address).

Standard Check (2+2) - To pass, the individual (name) has to pass at the residential address on at least two sources of data from either the Electoral Roll or Credit Database, cannot be flagged as deceased or someone who has moved out (change of the address).

Standard Checks (1+1) - To pass, the individual (name) has to pass at the residential address on at least one source of data from either the Electoral Roll or Credit Database, cannot be flagged as deceased or someone who has moved out (change of the address).

Standard Checks (2+2 inc. DOB) - To pass, the individual (name & date of birth) has to pass at the residential address on at least two sources of data from either the Electoral Roll or Credit Database, cannot be flagged as deceased or someone who has moved out (change of the address).

If the criteria is not met then the Address & Mortality check will refer as we have been unable to confirm the individuals Address & Mortality to to the required parameters and we recommend completing your own due diligence in this instance.

What profile do you have set-up?

Typically default set-ups are 'Standard Checks' or 'Standard Checks 1+1 inc. DOB'. If you wish to know which pass parameter you have set-up, please reach out to our team by submitting a ticket here or alternatively, you will see the profile appear as the 'default' option if you are attempting to re-run/run a manual Address & Mortality check.

How do you change your profile?

If you wish to change your profile that applies to Address & Mortality checks as part of a journeys such as an AML journey, please reach out to our team by submitting a ticket here detailing which profile you would like switching too.

If you are running a manual Address & Mortality check, you can choose which profile to use on an ad-hoc basis. To run a manual Address & Mortality check, selecting the profile on an ad-hoc basis, please read our guide here
